This page gives you an overview of Photo+Adventure opening times, background information on ticketing, directions on how to get there, details on wheelchair access as well as accommodation options.
Opening Times
The Landschaftspark itself is open to public 24/7.
The trade show will be open to the public on
Saturday, June 08, 2024 from 10am to 6pm
Sunday, June 09, 2024 from 10am to 6pm
Workshops and seminars will take place at various locations in the park throughout the day. Most of these will be held in German, but we offer some English seminars and workshops to complement our programme. Tickets are available in our Photo+Adventure online store – our apologies as this is German only.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any questions around workshops, seminars or the booking process.
If you would like more information on the Landschaftspark, please refer to the English version of their website.
Information on tickets
A trade fair ticket is required to enter the show itself, taking place in Kraftzentrale. These tickets are available as e-tickets in our online shop or they can be purchased as hard tickets either in advance or during Photo+Adventure weekend at Landschaftspark's visitor's centre.
Concession tickets are available for pupils, students and handicapped people. There is also a weekend ticket available (online only) , granting you admission on both days.
Which tickets, what for?
In case you are looking at participating in our supporting programme only, such as the multivision show or a particular workshop or seminar, there is no need to purchase a trade show ticket. You buy a ticket to your relevant activity, taking place outside the exhibition area. Admission to the park itself is free of charge.
A trade show ticket (in combination with the wristband you'll be handed when entering the exhibition area for the first time that day), guarantees multiple admissions on the relevant day. That way, you can walk in and out as often as you like. So there is no need to look at all photo exhibitions, presentations on our photo and travel stages, live shooting sessions and other booth activities run by our exhibitors or Check&Clean services for your camera sensor (Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus and Sony) in one go.
Do you have any questions? Please feel free to reach out to us and send us an email to info@photoadventure.eu.

International arrivals

You’ll find further information about Düsseldorf airport at www.dus.com/en; details on the train time table can be found at www.bahn.de.
Wheelchair Access
In case you rely on a wheelchair or a walking aid to get around, unfortunately there are a few barriers awaiting you at Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord.
We did our best to gather all the information about access restrictions for you, so you can enjoy your weekend at Photo+Adventure.
The Landschaftspark itself is accessible with a wheelchair. The main area is tarmaced or paved. In some park areas there is solid ground with a fine layer of gravel instead. If you plan on wandering off the main area, assistance may be required. Throughout the whole park, there are plenty of options to take a rest and sit down.
There are public restrooms accessible with a wheelchair in the visitor centre, Kraftzentrale (exhibition hall) and the youth hostel.
Parking: There are ten parking spots for handicapped visitors at the main parking lot Emscherstraße (about 20 metres distance to the park entrance).
Kraftzentrale: Getting into Kraftzentrale (=exhibition hall) requires you to walk up a few steps. In case this is not doable, there is a ramp for wheelchair access that can be used instead. This ramp is quite steep, so assistance may be required. Please speak to one of our staff and we’ll gladly help you up this ramp (i.e. contact our crew at the press counter). The hallways inside the exhibition hall are wide enough for wheelchairs, so once you managed to get up the ramp you’re free to roam!
Workshops & Seminars: All workshops inside Hüttenmagazin taking place on ground floor, all workshops on ground floor in the youth hostel as well as workshops taking place in “Fahrradhalle” (which belongs to the youth hostel, situated outside the main building though) are wheelchair-accessible. Only a few seminars and workshop take place on the 1st floor inside Hüttenmagazin or on the 3rd floor in the youth hostel, so please be sure to get in touch if you would like to participate in any of these.
Some workshops take place “in the fields” and are not always easily accessible. If you are interested in participating in a specific workshop, please get in touch so we can talk to the workshop trainer about details on where he plans on teaching. That way, we can let you know whether or not it is possible for you to take part in the chosen workshop. We endeavour to find a solution for your participation!

Caravan spots right at the Landschaftspark
The parking lot at Landschaftsparks Duisburg-Nord offers a small number of caravan spots:
Emscherstraße 71

There are just a few quiet spots, but please note that they come without electricity connection. Right next to the diving center on the parking lot, you can dispose of your waste water and source fresh water. This is where you can also charge as per your electricity requirements (1 hour costs 1,-€).
